AeroFarms' new facility at Makers Village in Newark, New Jersey will be the world’s largest vertical farm when it opens in a converted steel factory and will produce up to two million pounds of herbs and leafy greens each year. The project will create approximately 80 full-time, permanent jobs, and AeroFarms has partnered with local community organizations to hire local residents.
