Mt. Poso Cogeneration Company Completes Conversion to 100% Renewable Biofuel Energy

Macpherson Energy Company and DTE Energy Services (DTEES) today announced that Kern County's Mt. Poso cogeneration plant is completely converted to run 100 percent biomass fuel instead of coal, and is successfully delivering its full capacity of 44 megawatts of clean, renewable energy to the California grid.

CDFI Fund Releases Data Related to NMTC Program Projects Financed Through 2010

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund released data collected on projects financed in low-income communities across the nation through 2010. The CDFI Fund requires all Community Development Entities awarded New Markets Tax Credit allocations to submit an annual report detailing how they invested Qualified Equity Investment proceeds in low-income communities.
