Array Technologies

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Array Technologies (Array) is the development of a 216,000 square foot Class A industrial building into a build-to-suit energy component manufacturing facility. The company previously was operating in an inefficient, outdated, and undersized manufacturing facility and was planning to locate its new facility outside of New Mexico. Garrett Development Corporation (GDC) proposed developing the new facility on a 21.5+ acre site in a low-income community in New Mexico, allowing Array to add significant production growth and ensuring that this strong employer continues to support the greater Albuquerque/Bernalillo County economy. Located in a severely distressed area with a poverty rate of 39% and an unemployment rate of 4.31x the national average, Array will create 150 construction jobs and 266 full-time quality jobs, providing employees with extensive, paid training, comprehensive benefits, a wellness program, and career growth opportunities. NMTC financing allowed GDC to undertake this development in a highly distressed community, allowing Array to support the local economy. Without NMTC allocation, Array would be forced to move its new facility outside of New Mexico, leaving the local community without one of its largest employers.
